The SEAMS Deaf-Pro Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals discover and develop their unique talents and skills. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore and become the best version of themselves, and we are committed to providing the necessary support and resources to make that a reality. Our organization offers a wide range of services, including career coaching, training programs, and other resources to help deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals reach their full potential. We understand that finding employment as a deaf or hard-of-hearing individual can be challenging, and that’s why we’re here to provide guidance and support every step of the way.
Seams Deaf-Pro Foundation empowers Deaf creatives by providing professional training, public performance platforms and interpreting services that elevate Deaf voices, dismantle stigma and expand inclusive access to arts and cultural industries.
To build an Africa in which Deaf artistry is recognised as essential to cultural expression — where Deaf artists enjoy equitable access, sustainable careers and leadership in the creative sector, and where communication barriers between Deaf and hearing communities are permanently narrowed.
You don't need to be an expert in Sign Language to make a difference here. We just need your time and a willingness to help us support the Deaf community.
